10/20/17 Announcements


All students should have received an email regarding the Voice of Democracy scholarship program.  The deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 31, so if you are interested you will want to get going on that ASAP!

All freshmen and JV volleyball players need to turn in their uniforms to Mr. Lahndorf.


Several students have library books that are overdue.  Please check your lockers and homes for any books that need to be returned before fines are given.

There will be a meeting for all students enrolled in College Speech second semester during Seminar on Wednesday, October 25. The meeting will be held in the Commons.


Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors: Please check your email as you have received a 2nd message about employment opportunities at Aueron.  They are really in need of some good employees!  West Street Market is also looking for help in the deli on Friday nights and on weekends.  Stop in at the grocery store and get an application if interested.


The Iowa Western rep will be here next Wednesday at 10:30. Please sign up by the end of the day on Monday to meet with her.

Please check off-season storage and lost and found for any missing items by the end of the day next Thursday.


Student Council will be collecting comfort items for our troops overseas.  Comfort item include: toothpaste, toothbrushes, socks, snacks, shampoo, sweatshirts, deodorant, etc. There will be a cart outside the office to put the items in. Please support our troops!  All items need to be received by November 6th.

Student Council is also supporting the Cookie Crumb project.  Please bring the cookies in a plastic baggie.  No ziplock baggie!  6 cookies to a bag. The cookies need to be 2 inches in diameter. Label any cookies with peanuts. Mrs. Erb's food class will also be accepting cookie dough to bake for the Cookie Crumb Project. Bring the cookies or cookie dough to Mrs. Erb’s room by November 13th.

If anyone still wants to purchase a football playoff shirt, they will have until the end of first period TODAY to turn in their order.

Monday night will be camo night during the volleyball game.  Wear your best camo and support the volleyball girls as they start regional tournaments next week.
