If you are interested in running for Carroll County Fair queen, please let Jenny in the office know and she will get you an application.  The program is open to any student at least 16 years old and is not limited to just 4-H and FFA participants.

There are extra prom glasses from the dinner available.  They are on a first come, first serve basis. If you want one, ask Mr. McCarville.

 

There will be a football meeting today during seminar for anyone interested in playing football next year.  Information will be given out on summer weights and starting dates for camp and practice.

 

Tomorrow during seminar, all high school students will be voting for new members for the 2019-20 student council.

All girls that need to turn in their track equipment must turn it in by 3:30pm today.  Meet by the offseason storage at 3:30pm today. If you cannot bring equipment at that time, bring it to Coach Cast's room before or after school. Make sure all equipment is washed and in a bag with your name on it.  Do NOT turn equipment into office or Mr. McCarville.

Boys Track Athletes, please turn in all uniforms and sweats to Coach Vanderhorst by the end of the school week.

Please check off-season storage and lost and found for any missing items by Friday.

There will be a breakfast served at the Manilla Memorial Hall on Sunday from 8a-12p.  Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, coffee and juice will be served. All proceeds will go to the Manilla Wellness Center.

The Kinderfest Committee is looking for volunteers to work the info booth at Kinderfest on Saturday, June 15th anytime between the hours of 11am to 5pm.  Contact Anna Irlbeck at City Hall at 655-2176. Great way to pick up Silver Cord hours.

Riley Barry, Caitlin Lahr & Jessica Swanson - please stop in and see the nurse before Thursday.

Thanks to all the students and staff who donated to Put a Cap on Cancer Day last Friday! A total of $277.00 was raised. Elementary raised $114, Middle School $133 and High School $30.

There will be a cross country meeting for those interested in participating in cross country next fall.  The meeting will be Thursday during seminar. The meeting will be in Coach Cast's room. Please get to the meeting promptly as there are several meetings going on.  There will also be a boys’ basketball meeting in the gym. Boys going out for basketball should come to the cross country meeting first, then you will go to the basketball meeting.  Make sure to bring a pencil.

There will be Wolves Golf Camp open to all kids starting 4th grade through 11th grade next fall.  Camp will be June 10 - 12 and hours are 9:15am - 11:15am. Members are free. Non members are $10.  Instructors will be Coaches Wagner and Lahndorf, along with Rourke Mullen. Call the golf course to register at 653-3515.

Congratulations to the girls golf team for qualifying for state! They placed 2nd in the Regional Finals at Atlantic yesterday with a score of 422. State golf will be held at the American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown on the 28th and 29th. Excellent job ladies!
