School Text Notifications
Just a reminder that important school notifications (postponements, cancellations, other important news) will be posted on the school website (www.ikm-manning.k12.ia.us), school social media, and through JMC. (Note: Only students and parents can receive the JMC notifications.) We encourage students, parents, and interested community members to download the IKM-Manning CSD school app, available for both Apple and Android phones. If you have the app on your phone you can choose to receive push notifications any time an important school announcement is made. (Note: you’ll need to turn that feature on in the settings in the app)
We have also added a NEW texting service available to all community members to subscribe to. To sign up please go to our school website (www.ikm-manning.k12.ia.us) and scroll to the bottom of the page and click on “Sign up for text and email notifications here”. You will then be directed to the sign-up page.
-Be sure to click the box in front of DISTRICT for services you wish to subscribe to.
-The email to confirm email subscriptions will likely go to your SPAM folder. You will look for "WELCOME to firstname.lastname@example.org". You will want to move it out of SPAM to receive future emails.
-When signing up for texting services it will ask for your phone carrier. You can either select auto detect or scroll through the list.
-Once you click submit you should receive a text message from IKMM@txcstr.com with the needed 5 digit code to finish your sign up in your web browser.
