The school board met for a work session and short special meeting last night. Various options were discussed for the future of the superintendent position including looking at numbers for a full time, part-time, and shared position. At this point the board decided to move forward with having a conversation with another nearby school who showed interest in learning more about sharing with us. Since this is in very early stages, that school district is not being named.
If conversations with the other district don't work out, the board did approve the hiring of a search firm to take on finding candidates for the board.
