Ribbon Cutting & Open House for IKM-Manning’s New Gym and Addition
The IKM-Manning Community School District is excited to invite the public to a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House celebrating the completion of our new gymnasium and school addition.

Location: IKM-Manning ​MS/HS, 209 10th St, Manning
This ​school celebration marks the completion of a year-long construction project and provides the only opportunity for the public to tour the new addition before school begins,​ as these parts of the building will not be open during the Back to School Open House.
Guests are invited and encouraged to attend a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:00 PM, which will include members of the IKM-Manning School Board and others who played key roles in leading and managing the construction project. During the open house, attendees can enjoy complimentary cookies, bars, and water inside the building, with fresh watermelon available outside.
Ms. V’s Sno Cone Truck will also be onsite for those wishing to purchase a sweet treat.
In addition to touring the new facility, guests will have the opportunity to connect with several organizations that support the IKM-Manning School District, including the IKM-Manning PTO, Athletic Boosters, Fine Arts Boosters, and FFA Alumni/Supporters Group. Each group will host a table to share information, encourage membership, and showcase the ways they contribute to student success.
