We are excited to invite you to a special Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House to celebrate the completion of IKM-Manning’s new gymnasium and school addition.
Date: Monday, August 18
Time: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: 6:00 PM
Location: IKM-Manning Middle/High School, 209 10th St, Manning
This event marks the end of a year-long construction project and is the only opportunity for the public to tour the new addition before school begins, as these areas will not be accessible during the regular Back to School Open House.
We encourage you to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony at 6:00 PM, which will feature members of the IKM-Manning School Board and others who were instrumental in leading and managing the project.
During the open house, guests are invited to enjoy complimentary cookies, bars, and water inside the building, along with fresh watermelon served outdoors.
Ms. V’s Sno Cone Truck will also be on site for those interested in purchasing a cool treat.
Several of our district’s supporting organizations will also be present, including the IKM-Manning PTO, Athletic Boosters, Fine Arts Boosters, and the FFA Alumni/Supporters Group. Each group will have a table to share information, promote membership, and showcase how they contribute to our students’ success.
We are proud to share this important milestone with our school community and look forward to showing you the exciting new space your support has helped bring to life.
